Biography
Kim DiDonato is a visual artist based in Denver, Colorado. Her work features colorful and textural landscape-inspired imagery and expressive figurative components utilizing a variety of material approaches and techniques. After a career in international development, she studied painting and sculpture in Washington, New York and London.
Kim’s paintings have been exhibited in numerous regional and national juried shows. In 2023 highlights included exhibiting at Red Dot, Miami with Jen Tough Gallery and at Martha Spak Gallery in Washington, DC. Recent exhibitions include a solo show at Salt Gallery, Key West and group shows at the Art League, Alexandria VA. Kim has been the recipient of notable awards including honorable mentions at the Hill Center Galleries Annual Juried Exhibition curated by Caitlin Berry, at the Capitol Hill Art League show Meltdown and as a semi-finalist for the Bethesda Painting Awards. Her works are held in private collections in the U.S., Australia, and the United Kingdom.
